How do you pass the time during a flight? What do you bring in your carry-on?
What don't I bring! Usually I have two bags. One being my laptop and the other containing everything else I need to survive a flight. It really also depends on the length of the flight. A normal flight being anywhere from 2-5 hours usually requires a laptop (+media), ipod, book, magazine(s), general purse contents, contact lens/glasses/toiletry bag. An extended flight (>12 hours) requires all of that plus a neck pillow, sleep mask, thermal blanket, pj pants, extra shirt + underwear, toiletries, face cleanser, hand lotion, eye drops, wet towelettes, tissues, melatonin, ibprofen. What can I say, I need to provide maximum comfort myself if I can help it, and believe me these things made a huge difference during our flight to Hong Kong and back last year.
What were your New Year's resolutions for 2006? How did you do?
HEY! I still have a couple of days left! Overall, I'm doing pretty well. There were some pretty big goals on the list this year -- and there are still a couple big ones left undone. But I'm very satisfied with the progress and I've learned a few things about goal-making to put into effect for next year.
What's one thing you regret not doing?
Submitted by Mr. Nice. Two things, actually. I regret not figuring out earlier and pursuing the Graphic Design career route. I also regret not studying abroad while in college. These things may not have drastically changed my life at this point, but I shouldn't have ruled them out as impossible.

Windows, Mac, Linux - What's your preference and why?
Submitted by ramblingsbymark.
Overall, I have to say that I am in love with OS X Tiger. It's so beautiful and accessible in comparison to Windows XP, that when I go to use my PC, it's just depressing. However, functionally I go both ways. There was a time when I was geeky enough to explore the Linux front, but since OS X is built on a UNIX foundation, there's always the option to do some command line tricks. Currently I have a MacBook and Windows XP desktop PC at home and a G5 Mac at work.
As a designer, my aethetic will hands down lean towards the hardware and OS design of Apple/Mac. I don't think I have to mention security/virus-free issues (even though I've never had one on Windows because I'm always on top of that shit), because even if you're not a control-freak, security-obsessed geek you can trust that OS X has got your back. However, I do have yet to find 100% replacement software to accomplish on a Mac everything I do on the PC (such as browse/download newsgroup binaries, rip DVDs, and do niche audio stuff.) These tasks aren't major, I may do them once a week or every two weeks, or barely at all. And it likely just requires a little investigating on my part, but until I officially replace that PC with a Mac, I am just too lazy.
Let it be known, that it is my full intention to eventually weed that PC out when I have the funds (or no other option but) to do so.
(I just put a request in for a new Mac Pro at work to replace the G5. Will Christmas come early this year?)

How did you pick your Vox name? Does it mean something?
Submitted by LeendaDLL.
My Vox name is taken from one of my favorite anime series, Revolutionary Girl Utena. I myself am... "revolutionary" and "girl" -like.
